Your entries and photos live in the app on your device — not on our servers.
Many diary apps sync everything to the cloud by default and ask you to trust their servers. One Today works the other way round: your diary is local first. Nothing leaves your phone unless you export a backup yourself.
Privacy only matters if you keep writing. One Today keeps each entry to one line about one good thing, with an optional photo — so writing takes less than a minute and your diary grows every day.
Because entries live on your phone, backups matter. From Settings you can Export to Google Drive (saved to your own Drive), Import from Google Drive on a new phone, or copy your backup data and keep it wherever you like.

One Today only backs up when you tap Export to Google Drive, and the file goes to your own Drive account. You can restore it on any phone with Import from Google Drive.
One line. One good thing. It takes less than a minute.
