Up to 120 characters. The short limit is deliberate: one honest line is easier to keep up every day than a long diary entry.
Yes. Tap Add past day on the Today or History screen, pick a day that has no entry yet, and write what was good about it. Your streak updates automatically.
Check that the reminder is turned on in Settings and that Android notifications are allowed for One Today. Some phones also stop reminders when battery optimisation is on, so set One Today to Unrestricted in your phone's battery settings. Use Send test reminder in Settings to check.
On the old phone open Settings and choose Export to Google Drive. Install One Today on the new phone, open Settings and choose Import from Google Drive. You can also copy your backup data and paste it with Restore backup data.
Uninstalling or clearing the app's data removes the journal stored on your phone. Export a backup to Google Drive first if you want to keep your moments.
Go to Settings, turn on App lock and set a 4-digit PIN. Turn on Lock on resume if you want the app to ask for the PIN again every time you come back to it.
Yes. In Settings, under Appearance, choose Daylight, Sand, Lavender or Dusk. Daylight follows your phone's light or dark mode.
Tap Share on a moment. You can send it as text, or as an image card in Paper, Teal or Marigold style, which includes the photo if the moment has one.
Not at the moment. One Today is available for Android on Google Play.
